Who are you?

My name is Stephanie Collins, PharmD. I'm a clinical pharmacist that loves makeup and learning the chemistry of the products I use on a daily basis. For me, it all started at home. I was lucky enough to grow up with an esthetician for a mother, and was introduced to makeup at a very early age. Seriously, my mom would send me to school with mascara in the 5th grade. Now as an adult in my 30s, beauty products are a necessity for professional life. Equipped with the analytical skills of a clinician, I began to dig into the scientific literature behind cosmetics. My goal is to effectively communicate the science to as wide of an audience as possible.
